Allegheny
Children’s Initiative, Inc. (ACI) provides supports to
maintain children and adolescents with behavioral health
challenges in their family settings. ACI serves
children and families by providing: behavioral health
rehabilitation services, family-based mental health
services, intensive case management services and
resource coordination services. ACI understands that
children with overwhelming behavioral or emotional
challenges present problems that sometimes seem
unsolvable. Their mission is to assist families in
developing and finding solutions for those problems or
to prevent problems before they happen. Their work is
tailor made for each child, family, school, and
neighborhood. Their work is centered on the child and
their focus is the family. ACI staff works with the
child in his/her environment – home, school and
community. ACI’s commitment is unconditional and their
support is total. |

personal independence and the development of work
related skills are made available at four training
